I am delighted to share my work with you. Creating art is as necessary to my life as food and water, and I am profoundly transformed over and over again through the process. Knowing the role that art has played in my life makes me eager to share it with others. Art is a way of caring, connecting, and creating community.
So come on in! take a tour through the studio and soak in the energy - bold colors, organic movements, and a playful sense of freedom unburdened by expectations.
I am a self-taught artist and writer living in Northeast Tennessee with my husband, our two daughters, and our dog Bingo. I create bold and feminine abstract paintings that inspire a spirit of freedom, play, and joy.
Each piece begins with a carefully curated color palette, but once I begin painting, all plans are set aside and I move from a place of trust, using my hands to apply paint directly to the canvas and allowing my intuition and instinct to lead. There are no corrections, no time for second-guessing, just a commitment to moving through the process. The resulting work feels organic and honest, like a candid photo of a person caught mid-laugh, or words spilling out that the mind didn’t have time to censor.
